Humm, maybe the writers of the other article were finguring in
other things too. I know they probably make at least as much
if not more off of other things related to the music beyond
the sell of the physical CD. They *do* own all their music,
lock stock and barrel. Copyrights, publishing, everything.
I know that's really rare for a band and they've been in
that position almost forever due to good managment :)
I think all the financial articles written about U2
are just making their best guess on the matter of what the
band is "worth". Only the band and their accountants know that
figure and I don't think they make official press releases
giving the dollar amount out to the world ;)
