In regards to A Day Without Me, I would have to say that this song is one of
my favourites... At first I laughed when i heard the song, just for the fact
that it is soo different than what i am used to hearing from U2. But when i
took the time to figure out what it was about, it almost brought me to
tears... I am going through that awkward teenage stage right now, and what
Bono was feeling when he wrote that is totally in sync with the way that I
feel... and so in some ways, this song is a mentor to me.. it helps me get
through the hard days.
just thinking of how Bono has turned out is an encouragement in itself.
And about Another time, Another Place, I am pretty sure that at the end of
the song it is German, at least that is what i have been told... but nobody
seems to know what is said...
Oh, and The Ocean is another favourite... i dont know about the bubbling
sound, i guess i will have to give it a close listen...
