Multi-millionaire Bono revealed that bookies get “ depressed” when he comes in – because he bets so little.
The U2 star kept up his annual tradition of having a Beautiful Day with wife Ali Hewson at the Leopardstown racing festival.
But Bono – who toasted a glass of festive champagne with the Irish Mirror – is lucky that the band’s music stops the bookies from telling him to Walk On.
And the 53-year-old admitted that despite a small win for Ali they never help keep bookies afloat during their St Stephen’s Day jaunt.
