Quincy Jones, Michael Caine toasted at birthday benefit

Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Chaka Khan, Bono and Patti Austin sang in honor of the music impresario and storied British actor.

Birthday parties don’t get much grander than this: 2,000 well-heeled guests ranging from Babyface to Will Smith, dinner prepared by chefs Wolfgang Puck and Gordon Ramsay, bottomless glasses of Dom Perignon, and Stevie Wonder singing Happy Birthday.

Quincy Jones and Michael Caine, born within minutes of each other on opposite sides of the Atlantic, celebrated their 80th birthdays as honorees of a lavish benefit Saturday night at the MGM Grand.
